Toxicologists study the effects of exposure to harmful chemicals and substances. The Toxicologist's job is to determine what effect a given substance has on people, animals, and/or the environment. A Toxicologist must have knowledge and experience in biology, chemistry, and forensics, and be able to apply these disciplines effectively to a broad spectrum of circumstances.
